Will.i.am introduced his smart watch

Will.i.am, the member of popular American hip-hop band “Black Eyed Peas”, has introduced his wearable device called “Puls”. It was being developed during 2.5 years at his i.am+ consumer electronics company. The device looks like smart watch. However, the rapper brought to notice that it is not a watch, but a bracelet, which can inform a user of what time it is among other things. Will.i.am characterizes Puls as the fashionable gadget for communicating, listening to music, physical exercising, etc.

Each user will be able to choose the device in the color he/she likes the most. The bracelets will come in the market in white, black, blue and pink. A bit later, two premium versions - in golden case and in the case of gold encrusted with diamonds – will be available.

What distinguishes Puls from other smart watch models is that an auxiliary device (such as a smartphone) is not needed for its functioning.

Will.i.am’s Puls smart watch can be used as a cell phone due to the fact that it supports 3G. It is already known that it will be able to function within the American AT&T and British O2 mobile networks.

Puls is Android Wear-running, using Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It possesses 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory as well as color sensor display, GPS, accelerometer, MP3 player, fitness tracker, Facebook and Twitter client applications, voice control function, Wi-Fi connectivity, etc.

Different accessories are created particularly for Puls, such as wireless charger and case with internal speakers, which informs a user what distance he/she has already covered.

Puls smart watch will be available for buyers closer to New Year holidays, although its price hasn’t been unveiled yet.
