Sony has been already working at Xperia Z4

As it is known, Sony has just released Xperia Z3, the improved version of its predecessor, Xperia Z2. Xperia Z3 really astonished everyone with its technical characteristics and efficiency. Controlled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat on the basis of Snapdragon 801 4-core processor of 2.5 GHz, it has 20-megapixel rear camera and 2.2-megapixel front one; 3GB RAM and 16 GB ROM with microSD slot; Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n; protection according to IP65 and IP68 standards (for example, from moisture, dust and water; it makes it possible to keep the device under water at the depth of 1.5 m during 30 min); moreover, it is real to play PS4 games via the smartphone.

With Sony Xperia Z3 having just entered the market, it turned out that the manufacturer is already preparing new Xperia Z4. According to this recent disclosure, Sony will have the only leader next year, represented by Xperia Z4. Apart from this, Sony has updated its Xperia Z series to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

To be honest, Xperia Z3 does not differ much from Xperia Z2. At the same time, the scheme of putting on the market similar models in a row during a short period of time (one year) can become rather profitable for Sony in respect of sales volume. However, it can be that such novelties will become unnoticeable soon.

Obviously, Sony Xperia Z4’s design will be identical to the one of its predecessor, Xperia Z3. It is beautiful, practical, fashionable and fresh. Why should it be changed in the long run?

In contrast to the smartphone’s design, its internal components will become fundamentally upgraded. Sony Xperia Z4 will be one of the first high-class smartphones having 20 nm ARMv8 chip. Specifically, it will be equipped with Adreno 430 GPU and Snapdragon 810 with Cortex A57 and A53 big.Little CPU.

Furthermore, Sony Xperia Z4 will substitute IMX220 camera sensor for a better one; so, the photos will be even of higher quality. These sensors by Sony are used by the world-leading producers of Android-running smartphones, among which are Motorola, LG, Samsung and even Apple.

It is expected that Sony will move to a larger 5.5-inch display of 1440-pixel resolution. Besides, the device will support Bluetooth 4.1; have 32 GB memory capacity and Cat 6 LTE (speeds up to 300 Mbps).

Those, who wouldn’t mind using smaller smartphones, will be able to enjoy mini-versions of Xperia Z4.
