It has become known what devices will get Android 5.0 Lollipop

Manufacturers of Android-running devices have already started the process of releasing updates. Therefore, soon they will please Android supporters with brand-new Android 5.0 Lollipop applications.

It has become known what devices in particular will get a new platform.

Among them is HTC. This producer of portable devices assured that it will release Android 5.0 updates for a range of its smartphones within 90-day term since the platform has been officially introduced.

Motorola has made available the list of its smartphones, which have already come into the market, that will be provided with Android Lollipop.

Motorola ensures that at least 5-6 smartphone models will definitely acquire Lollipop. Among them are Moto X (released in 2013/2014), Moto G (of 2013/2014 years of manufacture together with LTE version) and budget Moto E smartphone. Moreover, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini will also be updated to Android 5.0.

Moto X, G and E smartphones are equipped with the processors of different value. Therefore, users from different layers of society will have an opportunity to enjoy innovations from Android 5.0 Lollipop. Each Android-running device can be controlled by the latest version of the platform if only its manufacturer considers it necessary to release the update.

However, Motorola did not mention when each model will get updating exactly. Regarding the fact that the company put out the updates for Android’s previous version – Android 4.4 Kit Kat – rather quickly, hopefully, the ones for Lollipop won’t take long.

In addition, Google has assured that older Nexus models, such as Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 as well as the Google Play Edition gadgets will also get Android 5.0 Lollipop.
