Lenovo has introduced another novelty – YOGA 3 Pro hybrid laptop. It is the innovative device due to its revolutionary thin and light case, four operating modes (laptop, stand, tent and tablet), unique rotating hinges, high productiveness, high-resolution display and adaptive hardware and software.
It will be possible to purchase YOGA 3 Pro since the end of October in the USA for 1.349 USD, since November in Russia for approximately 50.000 RUB and more (depending on the configuration and region); in Europe it will cost about €1.299 and in the UK - £1.299. The date and price for the product in other countries stay unknown yet.
Comparing to the previous Lenovo notebooks, YOGA 3 Pro is 17 percent thinner and 14 percent lighter – its width is just 12.8 mm and weight is 1.27 kg – due to a new arrangement of rotating steel and aluminum hinges, which became more flexible and flatter. Instead of two hinges, there are six of them. They say that its developers were inspired by the structure of common watch bracelets. Also, YOGA 3 Pro operates on the basis of Intel Core M70 processor that not only makes its functioning faster and more versatile, but allows to do without internal fans that spares space inside the machine.
YOGA 3 Pro possesses IPS sensor display with Quad HD+ resolution, which is protected by high-tensile Gorilla Glass glass. Besides, it is equipped with JBL internal audio system and Waves Audio audio software. The device has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB at solid state drive. YOGA 3 Pro offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. connections. Additionally, it is possible, for example, to install Lenovo VeriFace Pro software that uses the technique of face recognition as the way of entering different applications.
Lenovo developed not only exclusively comfortable design for the gadget; it also worked out convenient software – Lenovo Harmony - to adapt itself to customers’ preferences and requirements. For instance, during listening to audio files or watching videos, the program offers a user to select an appropriate sound mode; while reading an electronic book, it adjusts brightness and color saturation according to the illumination, taking care of eyes’ health; and the like.
Up to now, Lenovo YOGA 3 Pro is considered to be the most thought-out 2-in-1 laptop. Millions of people around the world are looking forward to the day it will be available in their region. |
