Raidmax Vampire Case Gets Revised by Winterfall Version

Raidmax inventory of PC cases has been recently revised by a white version of Vampire model. Entitled Vampire Winterfall, this chassis got entirely white framework coating with only a few black inclusions (external 5.25-inch bays and decor strips). It also draws attention by a blue acrylic window at one of the side panels. Upon the whole, this model features 590x250x580 mm dimensions and is targeting motherboards of up to XL-ATX form-factor.

Spacious layout enables installation of up to ten (!) expansion cards, five drives of 5.25-inch format, and seven drives of 3.5-/2.5-inch standard. The maximum allowable length of compatible graphics cards makes up 330 mm, height of a CPU cooler – 195 mm, and length of a power supply unit – 265 mm. Besides, the incorporated I/O panel permits for the connection of up to six external devices: a pair with USB 3.0 interface, a pair with USB 2.0 interface, and two audio peripherals.

One of the major advantages of Vampire Winterfall is the availability of a dedicated dock station for 2.5-inch drives with hot swap function. All unused external sockets and slots might be covered by bundled rubber plugs.

Cooling system is another peculiarity ascribed to the ‘white’ chassis edition. It consists of two initially preinstalled fans (one 200 mm frontal fan with blue LED backlight and one 140 mm rear propeller) and space for two 120 mm side fans and two 120 mm top fans (or one 140 mm/200 mm). Bottom section of the case is void of vacant places for cooling. Three optional fans might be controlled by a three-speed switch. Moreover, this case welcomes the installation of a liquid-cooling system.
