Qnap Systems, Inc. has recently added to its production line of NAS devices three new models of TS-x31 series. The TS-431, TS-231 and TS-131 are targeting SOHO and Home users with an acute need for an efficient storage solution. All the items are powered by ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core CPUs with 1.2 GHz frequency, but are distinguished by storage capacities with one, two and four hot-swappable drive bays. Memory subsystem boasts 512 MB of DDR3 RAM, ensuring 110 MB/80 MB per second Read/Write speeds.
Qnap TS-x31 NAS feature a range of advanced options for file storage, data backup, data sharing and synchronization. They also offer multiple multimedia functions to considerably enhance home entertainment experience. The two senior models (431 and 231) are furnished with two LAN ports which allow employing dual IP settings, port-trunking modes, and link aggregation for high data throughput.
To continue, Notes Station enables the creation of digital notes on private cloud with further opportunities for sharing these notes with other users absolutely free. Moreover, other users are able to edit the data and add media files due to a friendly web-editor, take screenshots thanks to Qnap application as well as create to-do daily lists which might be synchronized with Google Calendar.
It should be underlined that TS-x31 storages support AirPlay and DLNA options. They provide for viewing stored images/photo/video from any device connected to the network (TV, game console, media player).
