MSI enters the market with two new all-in-one products for gaming purposes. Being the representatives of an award-winning Gaming series, the AG270 2QC and AG270 2QE are equipped with the latest video cards from Nvidia GeForce GTX 900M lineup. In particular, the first model houses GeForce GTX 970M card with 6 GB video memory, while the second one boasts GeForce GTX 980M graphics with 8 GB GDDR5. All other specifications of both items are identical.
Therefore, the new-comers are powered by 4-core Intel Core i7-4860HQ processors compatible with Intel HM87 chipset. These CPUs closely cooperate with DDR3L-1600 MHz memory modules (16 GB capacity), a single 3.5-inch SATA hard drive, and three mSATA drives combined into RAID 0 array.
The hardware is housed in a stylish gaming-like case with 27-inch display. The latter offers Full HD resolution and a multi-touch surface (supporting up to 10 simultaneous touches). It also supports Less Blue Light and Anti-Flicker technologies to reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. The display itself is characterized as frameless, demonstrating a better touch control and an increased resistance against scratches and dust.
Both devices run under Windows 8.1 OS. They are equipped with two Yamaha speakers (5 W each), a 2 Mp Full HD webcam, and a pair of network interfaces: Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2205 (wired) and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC72260 controller (wireless) with support for dual-band Wi-Fi connection and Bluetooth. Connectivity facilities are introduced by four USB 3.0 ports, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, the same amount of audio slots, and three video in/outputs (D-Sub, HDMI in, HDMI out).
Additionally, AG270 2QC and AG270 2QE are furnished with Blu-ray Writer and DVD Super Multi ODD. TV tuner with PCI Express interface is an optional facility. With expansion purposes users might employ mini-PCI Express 2x slot. Finally, the models draw power from 230 W AC adapters. |
