Lepa LPC501 Case Ready for Ultra-Long Graphics Cards

Lepa, best known for superior power supply units, has enlarged its production line by a new middle-tower chassis LPC501. It features 453x427x203 mm dimensions and is estimated for micro-ATX and full ATX motherboards with the maximum of 7 expansion slots. The possibility to install ultra-long video cards (up to 414 mm) and ultra-high CPU coolers (up to 174 mm) is considered to be a key zest of this model.

Lepa LPC501 comes with three bays for 5.25-inch drives and six bays for 2.5-/3.5-inch devices. The drives are allocated between two boxes; therefore, if necessary, one of the boxes (the upper one) might be removed to install lengthy 2-slot expansion cards. The layout is peculiar by a dedicated notch in the motherboard tray; it facilitates installation of a CPU cooler as well as mounting of ODD without additional tools. Moreover, its availability promotes for an efficient cable management and an enhanced airflow.

The chassis boasts an elegant yet gaming-type design with a large acrylic window on the side panel. The LPC501 comes with three pre-installed fans: a pair of 120 mm in the frontal section with blue LED backlit and a single 120 mm fan in the rear section. Additionally, it’s feasible to install two 120/140 mm fans at the top panel and one 120 mm item at the bottom part.

All external interfaces found their places at the frontal panel. Here one will find dual USB 3.0 ports, dual USB 2.0 ports, and two HD audio mini-jacks. I/O kit varies with LPC501B case modification: it features 1x USB 3.0 port, 3x USB 2.0 ports and 2x audio ports. Pricing is still unknown.
