Panasonic Printers

‘A Better Life, a Better World’ is a current motto of Panasonic Corporation. This watchword reflects the company’s vision in the best way possible, since it has been trying to improve the life of every person throughout its nearly centenary history. Originally, one of the largest Japanese manufacturers of consumer electronics and home appliances took the name Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., and only in 2008 it was renamed to, what we globally recognize, Panasonic Corporation.

Founded in 1918, a small firm grew into a multinational corporation with headquarters in Osaka, Tokyo. Nowadays it embraces 380.000 workforce, more than 500 subsidiaries, and millions of devotees across the world. Its overall operations are organized around three key business industries: Components & Devices, Solutions and Consumer. In combination they produce a wide variety of items, starting from TV panels and finishing with solar batteries and washing machines.

According to the 2012 shipping results, Panasonic took the fourth global rank in selling television solutions. Today the company focuses its attention on the elaboration of flat-screen, plasma and 3D TVs with enhanced display dimensions and bewildering resolution.

The other priority area is mobile communications where this giant, with no false modesty, thrives. It gets a large share in the Japanese handset market as well as a growing fame in the global Android-based smartphone market.

To continue, batteries are probably the most valuable and profitable industry of Panasonic Corporation. Today it produces charge-in devices for nearly any type of electronic equipment and appliances, i.e. it is a chief manufacturer of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries which are widely used in modern iPods, cellular phones, and other handhelds. Moreover, the company succeeded also in the production of nickel-metal batteries for the next-gen hybrid cars.

Panasonic is an original designer of in-built automotive systems (navigation modules, head-units, speakers, etc.) which are widely employed by such automakers, as General Motors and Volkswagen.

Finally, being the leader in electronics and computing industry, the company provides successful sponsorship for the majority of world-class sports/entertainment/social events (i.e. NASCAR, Toyota Racing).
