Brother Printers

Brother Industries Ltd. is the Japanese transnational company that is the leader in the European and American office equipment markets.

It was founded in 1908; its motto is “At your side”. The company’s outlets are spread worldwide; its production capacities are concentrated in Korea, Japan, USA, Malaysia, Ireland and Great Britain. Today, Brother Industries is the leader in the markets of Europe, Asia and America. Focusing on high quality and technological innovations, it is within Brother’s power to satisfy the demands of large corporations, middle and small enterprises, and home users.

It is interesting to know that Brother Industries Ltd. started its way to success as Yasui Sewing Machine Company. It created and repaired the elements for sewing machines. In 20 years, the company put out its first industrial sewing machine; in 1954, it introduced the knitting machine of its production. In 1961, Brother decided to diversify its assortment and represented its first typewriter which was followed by quick-operating dot-matrix printer in 1971.

However, it would be wrong to assume that the company put aside working in the field that led it to success. In 2009, Brother established a new standard, which can make content even the most exigent customer. It created the unique Brother NV-1 sewing machine that supports four functions: embroidering, sewing, quilting and combining.

Brother Industries celebrated its centennial in 2008. Today, its work is focused on printing devices (printers, fax machines and multifunction gadgets) mostly.

Nowadays, Brother is second to none among the manufacturers of printers, scanners, typewriters, work processors, household and industrial sewing machines.
